Check out these additional photos from last weekend's Lance Corporal's course at Keswick barracks, highlighting the growth and achievement of our talented individuals.

Over the weekend the South Australian Army Cadets hosted their annual Lance Corporal's course.

They had drill lessons such as lance drill and catafalque party drill in preparation for remembrance day. The cadets were separated into sections and had lessons as a course taught by CPLs, SGTs, and CUOs.

We stayed in the Keswick transit lines and had a visit to the museum and brigade headquarters were we had an information session with RCUO Cadd.

The Australian Army Cadets of South Australia achieved a notable accomplishment this weekend, commencing a transformative journey to develop into the next generation of inspiring leaders, having successfully completed their Lance Corporal's course.

We hope they apply the knowledge and skills acquired from the course in their units and future endeavours.

Last night we had some promotions in order.
DAH Blake Smith and DAH Dylan Freeman are now both 2LT (AAC) and in uniform and we are so pleased with their contributions to the unit and can’t wait and see how they progress in their AAC careers.

Congratulations to our latest cohort of commanders who graduated from the Army Cadet Staff Command Course held at Gallipoli Barracks 3-8 May 2026.
