Healthy, right-handed adults aged 18 to 35 years are invited to participate in a research study aimed at investigating the effects of exercise on brain and cognitive function.

In these sessions, participants will:
โข exercise on a stationary bicycle
โข complete cognitive tasks
โข be measured for brain activity (EEG), and heart and breathing rate

Athletes wanted! ๐๐โโโ The aim of this study is to investigate athlete reaction time and accuracy performance on a newly created cognitive task. This research will investigate the validity of the task for measuring athlete cognitive performance.ย ย ย ย ย

Researchers at the University of South Australia (UniSA) invite healthy adults residing in Adelaide to participate in a study that aims to evaluate performance and brain function changes from cognitive training. Participants who complete the study will receive a $100 participant honorarium.

Study Eligibility. We are seeking healthy right-handed adults aged 18 to 35 years. English must be your first language. Other eligibility criteria apply, contact the researchers for further information.
What is involved. Participation involves attending six laboratory sessions across two weeks, each 30 minutes to 2 hours long. In these sessions you will be playing a virtual reality video game as well as completing questionnaires, cognitive tasks and a cognitive training intervention. Non-invasive measurement of brain activity will be conducted with electroencephalography (EEG).
This project has been approved by the University of South Australia's Human Research Ethics Committee.
