Alexandra Repair Cafe

We are back repairing and sharing with a twist! We have made the decision to host our event every second month rather than monthly. Our next event is this Saturday 13th May from 1-3pm at the Embassy of Ideas, 3 Bayley St, Alexandra. What will you bring to repair?

Alexandra Repair Cafe was started in 2019 and has been running for 4 years and hosted 42 repairing and sharing events. In that time we have saved hundreds of Kg's of items from going to landfill, shared many hours of knowledge and skills and made priceless community connections. For the next few months we are going to take a well earned break. We are now looking at new ways of running this event to ensure that are volunteers are valued and we adapt to our community needs for this type of event. We hope to be back repairing again in May 🔧🔨🪚🪛
