There are now no active cases of COVID-19 in the Territory.

Thank you so much for everything you have done to keep the Territory the safest place in the country. We have been the absolute best.

But the fight is not over yet.

The battle against COVID-19 has been incredibly difficult so far. Territorians have sacrificed a lot. Businesses have had to shut down. And our frontline workers continue to put themselves at risk and work around the clock to keep the rest of us safe.

Our hard borders are the reason we've been able to get back to business, back to work, and back to enjoying our incredible Territory way of life.

The danger of COVID-19 is still out there. There are still new cases occurring across the country. We have some of the most vulnerable remote communities in the world. And Territorians have worked too hard and come too far for me to risk us all going backwards.

I will not risk community transmission.
And I will not be opening our borders until it is safe to do so.

I will keep doing whatever it takes to save Territory lives and to save Territory jobs.

Territorians will always come first.

As you may have seen, the Northern Territory Government announced it will begin to gradually ease restrictions while continuing to ensure the safety of our community and Territory – 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟮𝗽𝗺.

𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴:

✅ Alcoholic Drinks may only be consumed with the purchase of a meal.
✅ Groups of up to 10 who are known to each other can sit together and are responsible for their own distancing within their group.
✅ Individuals in a group cannot move from one group to another.
✅ Customers are to be seated when not ordering, going to the counter or using the facilities.
✅ Ensuring there is 1.5 metres between different groups of customers.
✅ Customers encouraged to leave within 2 hours.
✅ Customers may order a pre-drink to consume whilst they choose and order from the menu.

✅ Movement of tables to ensure effective distancing is in place.
✅ Readily available sanitisation and cleaning products for guests.
✅ Social distancing and hygiene signage and visual cues around the venue to remind you.
✅ Regimented and strict cleaning and sanitisation procedures that we will be implementing daily across the venue and between each and every meal.

Management and staff are committed to ensuring that your safety is out highest priority. We ask that you assist us by following these guidelines and help us stop the spread.
