At just 22 years old, Kayley Boda from Manchester is sharing her story to warn others about the potential risks of va**ng.

Kayley began va**ng at 15 and later switched to disposable devices. By the time she was 21, she was using about one 600-puff v**e per week when she started coughing up dark brown, grainy mucus from her lungs. Despite visiting her GP multiple times, she was repeatedly told it was nothing serious.

Everything changed when she began coughing up blood. An X-ray revealed a shadow in the lower part of her right lung, and after months of testing and biopsies, Kayley was diagnosed with lung cancer.

During surgery to remove the lower lobe of her right lung, doctors discovered the cancer had already spread to six nearby lymph nodes, advancing the diagnosis to stage three. The operation left her extremely weak, forcing her to relearn basic movements like walking. Chemotherapy followed, but the treatment took a severe toll on her body.

Kayley believes va**ng played a role in her illness. With no family history of lung cancer, she says her symptoms began after switching to disposable v**es. She has now quit completely and is encouraging her family, friends, and especially young people not to start.

While scientists are still studying the long-term effects of va**ng, experts warn that it can carry risks including lung disease, heart problems, and ni****ne addiction.
