Kickstarting the good vibes for Savour The Tweed with a spring networking event hosted by our friends at The Tweed Tourism Co. The Tweed. We rolled out with a tractor train ride through the rolling hills of is like stepping into a living garden of Eden — brimming with spring’s bounty.
Think finger limes, buttery avocados, macadamias, black sapote (aka chocolate pudding fruit), star fruit, custard apples, dragon fruit, durian, guava, jackfruit, jabuticaba, longan, lychee, mangosteen, papaya, soursop, wax jambu…the list is endless.
Amongst the orchards you’ll also meet donkeys, bees and a gaggle of geese, all part of this lush Tweed wonderland right in our glorious backyard.
We tucked into tropical tastings from head chef Armando Icaza’s Mexican heritage fused with our regional flavours, and delighted in ’s sensational vanilla bean ice cream with garlic, pepita, sesame salsa matcha.
✨
