Many in our Bellingen community have been navigating an especially heavy week, marked by deep loss and traumatic events. Some are grieving loved ones, others are carrying the shock of what they witnessed, directly or indirectly. Even those not personally connected may be feeling the shockwaves... through the stories shared, the news read, or the memory the land holds in the centre of town.

Grief moves in many ways. It can be sharp or slow, visible or silent. However it’s showing up for you, we imagine there are others feeling the same.

Our regular Death Café is on tomorrow in town. While it isn’t a therapy or counselling space, it offers a free, gentle, supportive place to speak (or simply listen) with others who are open to honest conversations about death, loss, and the tenderness of being human.

You’re very welcome to come, share, listen, or just have a cup of tea with us.
