"We're excited to be part of the Bendigo Sustainability Festival 2026!

Come and find us at the Garden for the Future, White Hills on Sunday 29 March (10am–4pm) for a fantastic day celebrating sustainability, community, and local innovation.

There'll be live music, inspiring talks, kids activities, food trucks, and plenty of amazing local stalls.

Make sure to stop by and say hello!"

So very exciting. Hopefully these sort of projects will become more common in the future 🙏

What majestic animals they are, just beautiful. This wedge-tail eagle was found in the middle of bushland unable to fly. Thanks to the person who found it giving me a pin drop location and leaving rocks and sticks out, I was easily able to find it. No obvious injuries were found by the Bendigo Animal Hospital and is now in care at the Healesville Sanctuary. Hoping it is able to be rehabilitated.🤞

WRIN is overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of the Bendigo and surrounding community for the donation of much needed supplies such as tissues, gloves, bat wraps, jelonet bandages, burns gel, wipes etc and cash donations which have been used to purchase items such as vet wrap, solugel, softban wrap and specialised prescription burns cream flamazine.
All of these products have been passed onto our local shelters and wildlife carers.
Additional donated money will also be transferred directly to our main shelters to support them with on going costs.
We would also like to say a massive thank you to Bunnings Epsom for their kind donation of 8 bags of chaff which has also been passed onto a shelters to provide feed to kangaroos in care.
Thanks also to Green Cross vets in Bendigo for donating vet wrap and other supplies.
Caring for wildlife can be very costly especially those suffering from burns and requiring advanced care and treatment.
Your support is very much appreciated 🙏
