Finally a Grand Final has been played!

After a few false starts, a couple of lockdowns followed by strong restrictions, we finally managed to finish the 2021 snooker season with our A Grade side taking out the final 6-5 over a very classy VRI Gold tonight

All frames were very close and it came down to the last couple of balls in the final frame to clinch the result.

Sandhurst wishes to thank the Bendigo Billiard & Snooker Association for pushing through and allowing us to finish the season.

We'd like to thank Golden Square Working Men's Club for the preparation of their fantastic tables and for hosting the final, and finally VRI Gold, for providing a thrilling competition on the night.

Moving on to 2022, Bendigo Billiard & Snooker Association are looking to start Billiards in January, so if you are interested in playing please get in touch and let us know.

SSBC are looking to hold an in-house snooker comp soon as well as maybe some eightball on the 2 7ft tables we have available. Again, if you are interested in participating, let us know

The SSBC A-Grade team would like to thank Golden Square Working Men's Club for the use of their facilities tonight for competition, saving us from a slow roast!!

The SSBC would like to convey our sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Bergman, who tragically lost his life last night.

While I personally did not know him very well, he was always very friendly to me and seemed like such a good natured person, and I know he was well liked in the 8 ball community.

Rest in peace John, you will be missed by many.

The 2021 Snooker Season is going to be starting soon. We'd love to see existing and new members sign up to play in A or B Grade competition.
