Insufficient physical activity among young people aged 18-25 in Western Australia is a growing public concern, contributing to poorer physical and mental health outcomes.

The research team are looking for 6-8 young people aged 18-25 to join a Youth Advisory Group.

DETAILS:
💬 Join a research team that is working to develop new approaches that reflect young people's lived experiences, motivations and barriers to participation
â—½You need to be aged between 18-25
â—½Have an interest in physical promotion, regardless of whether you are active or struggling to be active
â—½Be based in WA (Perth Metropolitan or rural/regional WA)
â—½This opportunity will involve meeting up to 4-times a year (one hour each) over a 2-year project period
â—½You will be paid for your time

The research team are seeking two Lived Experience Co-Investigators to join them. They would like to involve two people who will bring lived experience relevant to Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) or other language disorder(s).

DETAILS:

💬 Join a research team that is interested in people who are well-connected within the DLD/language disorder community

â—½You must be well-networked within the DLD/language difficulties community

â—½Have the ability to reflect on lived experiences and contribute to discussions

â—½Have the ability to consider and represent broader community perspectives

â—½You must have good communication skills, be able to work collaboratively, understand basic computer literacy, be organised and reliable
