Soon the footy season will be upon us… so I went rummaging through the archive of black and white negatives for a little nostalgia hit — and uncovered this gem: the 7Sport Footy Commentary Team, from my shoot in 1988.
The one who impressed me most? Malcolm Blight — razor sharp then, and not long after, the man who would take my beloved Geelong Football Club to three… yes, three… losing Grand Finals.
Everyone in this photo is still with us — except, sadly, Drew Morphett, whose voice was the soundtrack to so many great moments in the game.
Who else remembers this era — and where were you in ’88?

New year, new portrait. The old profile photograph didnlt feel quite authentic, so after a quick haircut I headed to Kim Tonelli’s studio — mid birthday-party prep and all. Thanks, Kim, for the styling, the banter, and your spot-on photographic instincts.

A look at my before-and-after work on the 2025 LEGO Myer Christmas Windows, built by Stage 1. Despite the wild reflections, I’m pleased with how the final images came together.
