Today the Australian government will announce their blueprint for migration. We can expect a business visa system that will grant approvals in 7 days for highly paid overseas staff in the specialist skills pathway. An essential skills pathway where workers earn under $70k, and a core skills patwhway where workers earn between 70k and $135k. Visa transportability and labour market testing changes also coming.
Points tested visas also to change.
