Workforce Extensions Brisbane CBD are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to work within a machine shop environment servicing and maintaining gas compressors and associated mechanical equipment within a refinery setting.

Key Responsibilities:

👉 Service, maintain and overhaul gas compressors
👉 Strip, inspect and rebuild mechanical components
👉 Perform fault finding and mechanical repairs
👉 Work safely within refinery and industrial environments
👉 Complete all work in line with strict site safety procedures

Requirements:

👉 Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
👉 Experience working on compressors or rotating equipment preferred
👉 Strong mechanical aptitude and workshop experience
👉 Ability to pass a Police Check
👉 Ability to complete all required site inductions
👉 Commitment to safety and compliance procedures
