Creating from the heart,
Sometimes it just happens,
Mostly when I just start.

I never know where the feelings come,
Art making is a mystery,
Being immersed in the wonder,
beauty of creation makes me feel so free.

Life is art and life is art,
Translating in many a form,
To some its weird, to some its not,
Who says what is the norm?

Drawing energy is good today,
The flow is coming through,
I hope you enjoy this abstract piece,

✨😃Hi beautiful humans, I hope you are well.😘

I felt like drawing this morning had the urge but didn’t know where to start, so I just started to draw my dog on her blanket.

I am not a real fan of drawing from reference points like photos and real life.
It doesnt get me as excited as when the flow comes from my imagination.

However with this said I had fun drawing my baby girl this morning.🥰
Its not exact, realistic is not my forte….. I cheated a bit with rough tracing some of the pattern work of the blanket.
The rest was done freestyle.

Procreate, apple pen on ipad.

With all the Ai art around these days, it does deflate the feeling to draw sometimes. 😞
I must remember to tell myself though how good it feels to create, and that in itself is enough reason to start.

I am hoping my artists block is coming to an end.🙏.

Dusting off my apple pen,
With only a bit of charge,

I doodled, moved,
Got my hand moving …… drawing large.

I haven’t drawn in ages,
My posts have become far and few,
My creative flows been hampered…..
By life and whats been happening in the world,
Its hard to relax my view.

I forced a draw and took deep breathes,
This is the result.
A flow of rainbows colours and shapes,
after a listening to my souls consult.

As the sun sets on another day,
The night has gone so fast,
Time to rest my weary head,
Whats dreams my soul will cast?

Today I puttered at home, around and about,
Let the day flow as it did,
Rested and moved, inside and out.

Today was for recharging, gathering my thoughts,
Tidying up loose ends,
Resting smiles with zero fraught.

Did a drawing, made some art,
Grateful for this day,
Life such is a masterpiece,
In each moment from the start.

I have felt the urge to draw the past few days and it been wonderful.❤️

Today I drew this little blue tongued lizard and a little fly…. Can you tell what what the fly is asking?🤪.

The tongue can carry much power and words once spoken cannot be unsaid.
I myself have said things I wish I could take back, so with this in mind,
I try to think first about what I am going to say more so these days.
I think it comes with age too🤣😂.

May the corners of your mouth turn upwards and heart feel happy.
