AKC Round 3 - Emerald Kart Club

What a weekend! Ups and downs and massive takeaways 😎

X30 is a new class for me and not having been to Emerald before, lots of testing for me and Dad.

After practice 2, my times started to come down but a DQ from practice 4 was a real bummer, saving our new tyres for this session for a quali run.
Greatest heat was heat 3 with a 25th to 12th comeback on track.

Lessons learnt, setup acquired, lookout QLD State champs at end of the month!

A want to give a huge thanks to Ultimate Kart Academy and Power Republic for the new sticker kit. I was proud to represent on race day. Go check out Ultimate Kart Academy. It has been brilliant to have all that advice to watch any time I like, like a coach on hand any time I need it!

Following an incident on track during the KA2 Heat One at Round 3 of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, Hamish Campbell and Cooper Stapleton have been transported to hospital for observation. Both boys are conscious and talking and in a stable condition. Further updates as they come to hand.
