Thank you for staying with me. It has been a crazy (when is it not?) few months juggling with everything!

I am back at doing what I love and checking to see if you'd like to pre-order my handmade Magpie ceramic plates that were sold out within an hour at my last market. 1st October - 5 years since we moved to Brisbane, Australia! The hardest part of relocating was saying goodbye to our dear friends in Qatar, who had truly become family. We also miss the convenience of having help around the house — and yes, the tax-free salary and allowances too!

We chose to see our move to Brisbane as a new adventure — embracing the DIY lifestyle, coexisting (cautiously!) with wildlife, and integrating with the local community 😍

Brisbane now feels like home 🥰 I'm grateful for the deep connection with nature, the kindness of people around us, and the incredible support I continue to receive for my creative journey 🙏🏼

We are amazed by the strong local community spirit that we experience here, always leaving me teary eyed how strangers step in to help. I am really glad to be part of this community, contributing in whichever way we can as well 🫶🏽

Special shoutout to my husband, Vik, who works so hard to ensure that we have a comfortable life in Australia and, family and friends who check in with me 🙏🏼🧿
