Outside of taking photos and video, I’ve been scratching my industrial design itch by developing a couple of products in amongst everything else I have on the go.
As a product designer at heart, there are few things as gratifying as finding a reliable supplier who will work alongside you to make sure that your vision is realised.
Just today I picked up some new packaging samples from a Brisbane based packaging specialist called Pakko and I could not be more impressed with how attentive they have been.
Coming up with a premium packaging solution that mirrors the refinement of this product has been the last step of development in getting this product ready for sale.
I’d also like to give a quick shout-out to Supr Pack for their compostable tissue paper which will be used as the final touch on filling out this package for sending.
So to those of you who hit me up about getting your hands on a LEIF candelabra a while ago, keep an eye out for a small batch for release early in the new year.

Composit is a design and creative practice led by Ben Breitenstein. After 20 years in the industry, we decided it was time for a fresh start, so here we are!
This logo reveal animation that showcases a few small corners of the creative disciplines we dabble in, including 3D animation, motion design, compositing and sound design.
Composit is a name that could mean a lot of different things depending on what corner of the design, construction or media industry you're familiar with. But at the same time, it encompasses so many aspects of those industries, both literal and figurative, that it felt like a good fit.
Oh, and we chopped off the 'e' because it looks cooler and was way easier to buy that domain...
ANYWAY our goal is not to focus on a particular discipline, but to answer questions for people and solve problems for people and businesses using all the skills and tools at our disposal—as well as all the wonderful, creative people in our network.
