The BLUEHOPE team headed west on the weekend and spent some time with S/Sgt Scott Nicol and his team at Biloela Station. A nice BBQ dinner in the station meal room, with a good chat over dinner. The chat included the benefits of coming together from time to time to have a meal or something similar together in a setting removed from the stress of the job. A shout out to our newest volunteers Deb, Jake and Sienna. As discussed Scott, we enjoyed the visit, but you're going to need a firepit before we come back 😉
Remiss not to mention the element of nostalgia surrounding the trip with the return of BLUE HOPE volunteer Heidi to the station she transferred to from Boondall 30 years ago in 1996 staying in Bilo for a bit longer than her 2 year tenure 😊
