Looking forward to my Brisbane concert tomorrow at St. Mary's Kangaroo Point. I'm playing a mixed program with works by Dowland, Giuliani, Barrios, Granados, Olivia Bettina Davies and Paul Ballam-Cross.

A prizewinner at the London International Guitar Competition and featured artist at events like the Melbourne Guitar Festival and World Expo Dubai, Hamish brings global experience to this dynamic performance.
He’ll be joined by RCM staff and senior student guitarists for an exciting program spanning new works and timeless classics. From vibrant solos to intimate acoustic moments, this concert celebrates the guitar in all its musical diversity.

I'm very much looking forward to playing a solo recital in Brisbane on June 8th (my first since 2019!)
I'll be playing a selection of music by; John Dowland and in the spirit of the music - I’ll do a short improvisation with his harmonic language, Enrique Granados' Valses Poeticos, Mauro Giuliani's Rossiniana no. 6, Vals no 4 and Julia Florida by Barrios - as well as two fantastic contemporary works by Olivia Bettina Davis and Paul Ballam-Cross.
