Thalassophobia is the fear of the ocean. I get it, the thought of being lost in the deep blue, no land, no hope of saviour. It's terrifying. But the sheer beauty of our great barrier reef I didn't even think twice about those feelings. What I would give to land in such a desolate spot and snorkel in one of the most isolated, beautiful places on Earth.
