After few months of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch of our new website. (https://www.ideasvan.org)
Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors an easier way to learn about what we do; and how the IDEAS van helps substantially reduce blindness and visual impairment amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders with diabetes.

We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, articles, newsletters, announcements and client successes in the Articles section (https://www.ideasvan.org/articles) and social media. We hope you find the new website with a fresh look, easy to access information and we wish to establish this website as a source of information for those who visits our site.

Diabetes and glucose intolerance affects up to 50% of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who live in rural and remote communities. One in three diagnosed will also have diabetic retinopathy, which is preventable or treatable in 94% of cases when diagnosed in the early stages.
The IDEAS Initiative brings world class facilities to rural and remote communities in an effort to substantially reduce blindness and visual impairment amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders with diabetes.
