Artist Jess Skeene from Muralappi shared the story behind this artwork, titled “Many Paths, One Journey.”
This artwork was commissioned to represent last years Big Yarn and Play Day, a collaborative kindy uplift conference where over 100 Goodatarters came together from 13 different services to engage in hands on creative workshops delivered by First Nations artists. Thank you for delivering this at the Hearts Festival Jess, and for sharing the story behind it.

Last week, our Educational Leader was inspired to reimagine one of our play spaces, transforming a tired and neglected mud kitchen into a vibrant construction zone.
The children have eagerly embraced the “new” space, engaging in rich experimental play with pipes, cars, and loose parts, while weaving imaginative role play into their explorations. It has been wonderful to watch the area come alive again through the children’s curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
