The weather was warm, the waves pumped and the froth levels were high, especially amongst the groms.
In between the mens semi’s and final 7 of our youngest were sent out for an expression session. Most had never surfed Chi’s before and the hooting and hollering was heard from the top of the cliffs. A lot of fears and anxiety were overcome, all came out of the water more confident in their abilities. Lucky buggers had it to themselves.

A club dinner was held at Marion Bay Hotel on Saturday night and the pool table got a solid workout.

Thank you to everyone from competitors and parents alike for making the day epic and the journey so worthwhile.
