Yesterday I had my NDIS hat on, and together we created these gorgeous little entomology plaques!🦋🐞

A lovely afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, & moments of quiet focus, as we happily painted, glued & stamped away. When we saw the finished result, we both experienced that wonderful sense of pride that comes from making something with your own hands 🙏🏻

Playtime isn’t just for kids, it’s for adults too. For myself & many others, it’s therapy 🌿✨

This is Darren’s Son Fin, showcasing his very first furniture makeover at the age of 14yrs - which just goes to show that furniture upcycling isn’t just for adults 💕

It’s a fantastic way to swap technology for creativity, (especially in the school holidays) & learn new skills, build confidence, and even earn a bit of pocket money with a side hustle along the way. Fingers crossed it’s the beginning of a lifelong passion 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Painted in Pureco Silk Paint in Pear & Cotton, with Whisper Stain & Glaze on the sanded timber top to remove the orange tones.
