Thrilled and honoured to share that my painting, Bulimba Ferry Terminal, has been selected as a finalist in the Lethbridge Landscape Prize 2025 at the Lethbridge Gallery

Begun during a sabbatical and then set aside for a few years, I returned to this painting late last year with fresh eyes and a refined technique. A nostalgic view of Bulimba’s 1922 ‘waiting shed’ and wharf, capturing a moment in the Brisbane River’s rich history. The wharf was damaged in the 2011 floods, and then restored in 2014 with the addition of a multi-berth CityCat pontoon, changing this viewpoint forever.
