🚨 Umpires Needed This Saturday 🚨

Busselton Netball Association is currently short of umpires for this Saturday’s Indigenous Round.

If you can help by umpiring just one or two games, it would make a huge difference.

We are currently seeking umpires for:

* 8:15am – 4
* 9:45am – 6
* 11:15am – 11
* 12:45pm – 4
* 2:15pm – 3

🚨 Did you know?

The next six months will shape the future of Busselton Netball.

Over the next six months, the Board will be discussing some of the biggest decisions for our Association, including:

• Saturday competition playing days, age divisions and competition structure.
• Monday night competition changes.
• Program changes, including NET and NetSetGO.
• Representative program requirements and expectations.
• Constitution updates, including Board representation and governance.
• Grievance procedures.
• A complete review and rewrite of the Competition Operating Procedure (COP).

All of these decisions are currently being made with one less voting Board member.

More importantly, this isn’t sustainable.

We currently have six Board members doing the work of seven. These volunteers dedicate countless hours behind the scenes to keep Busselton Netball running. Asking them to continue carrying the workload of an additional Board member simply isn’t fair.

With more than 1,000 registered players, plus their families, coaches, umpires and volunteers relying on our Association, we need one person willing to step forward and help.

This isn’t just about attending meetings. It’s about having a voice in the decisions that will shape the future of netball in Busselton and ensuring the workload is shared fairly.

The future of Busselton Netball shouldn’t rest on the shoulders of a few.

It’s time to step up.

This is an important time for our Association, with key decisions being made for the future. Just as importantly, we need to spread the workload across more volunteers to support our current Board and help ensure we can retain the dedicated people who are already giving so much of their time.

You don’t need previous Board experience – just a willingness to contribute, share ideas and make a positive difference to our netball community.
