Wrapped things up in Cairns last night not the way we wanted to finish, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Stretched a throttle cable in the first heat and was only getting about 3/4 throttle. Tried to sort it before the second, it just got worse ended up with about half throttle by the end! Threw a spare cable on but it was too short, so we parked it for the night rather than get in anyone’s way.

Managed to snag a 3rd and 4th in the heats before calling it.

Congrats to all the other drivers, especially Team Kleinhans on a cracking year 👏
