Yellow like sand,
blue like sky and sea
a place where life begins

Mothers hold, nurture,
loves like the tide,
endless, returning

In Cape York and the Torres Strait,
beginnings live in every breath,
every wave,
every new step forward

And I begin here too
with Country,
with ocean,
with creation
