Something we hear in the clinic often is complaints about posture & tension in the neck and back.
..Which makes sense, as many of us spend a lot of time hunched over a computer. 💻
A couple of tips for office workers:
1. Set your monitor at eyeline if you can. This will help to keep your gaze straight, and your neck in a better position.
2. Invest in a good chair. You're there for 8 hours, it will save you money on myotherapy and physio appointments later down the track.
3. Try to keep both feet flat on the floor when sitting. When I work from home I'm pretty guilty of sitting in some pretty odd positions... All absolutely terrible for the back. 😅
Below are some quick exercises you can do from wherever you are to relieve some tension and fix your posture.
If you can make a small habit of these just one to three times per day, you should feel a big difference.
