Almost Forgot Why Photography

3:30am, no sleep, it’s been like this for almost two months now. Call it the weight of sleepless nights and restless thoughts. But this tiny baby galah I photographed yesterday, yep through the kitchen window, made me grin while my two pugs snooze beside me, all curled up and adorable. 🌸💛

I’m trying to do more of what brings me joy, despite my limitations, which is why something as simple as seeing birds outside my window can lift my spirits. Being able to jump up and talk to them like a sad version of Snow White while I prepare the camera still matters because I get to do something I genuinely love.

To the good humans in my life, you remind me that I matter, that I’m worthy even in my pain. I appreciate you more than words.
