Meet Rhiana đź‘‹

Rhiana is a compassionate, experienced counsellor with a diverse background spanning support work, teaching, special education, school counselling, corporate education, and government administration.

Her qualifications in science, teaching, and a Master of Education in school counselling and guidance complement many years of hands‑on experience supporting people with disability, Aboriginal communities, and multicultural populations. Her work in remote regions of Australia and internationally has shaped a grounded, culturally responsive approach to practice.

Rhiana’s counselling and case‑management style is person‑centred and strength‑based, focused on fostering resilience and empowerment. Drawing on solution‑focused brief therapy, family systems, play therapy, trauma‑informed practice, Internal Family Systems, and other modalities, she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

Meet Young đź‘‹

Young is a compassionate provisional psychologist, who holds a Master of Professional Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology with first class Honours. She is dedicated to supporting people of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds. She creates a safe, welcoming space where participants feel understood and respected, helping them navigate emotional, behavioural, learning, and life challenges with confidence.

With a strong understanding of cultural nuance and inclusivity, Young tailors her work to each individual’s unique background and experiences. She is committed to building trusting therapeutic relationships that empower clients and families to achieve meaningful, lasting change.

Under the guidance of her clinical supervisors, she provides cognitive and behavioural assessments to assist with identifying learning preferences and education support needs.

Her therapeutic approach is evidence-based and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of Schema Therapy (ST), with a trauma-informed framework. Young focuses on practical strategies that promote resilience, emotional wellbeing, and improving quality of life.
