If the Govt sells land that is turned into housing then it should be used to increase the supply of affordable housing.
I’ve introduced a bill that would require all govt land sold for residential development to include 30% affordable housing (defined as 75% of market rent or 30% of household income, whichever is lower).

The government knows the Job Ready Graduates scheme has failed and is saddling students with huge amounts of debt. And yet after 4 years they haven’t reformed it - it’s now been in place longer under Albanese than under Morrison.
Time to change the date of indexation and reform the failed JRG scheme.
