Thanks Random Punter, that's our favourite post-gig compliment for a while... happy we're turning new people on to excellent underrated music, as well as giving the true believers the joy of hearing their XTC faves played live with dedication and energy. Something for everyone!

A great Friday night in the middle of the city at a packed Dissent Bar - happy angsty skiffle-punk from the Femmes of Violence, grungey guitar heaven from Death to the Pixies, and XACTO reliving post-punk pop gloriousness. We salute all who came out on a chilly night (including you out-of-towners) and thanks as ever to Dave and the Dissent crew for maintaining their island of local culture amid the Civic construction site bulldozer party!

Happy to be back playing at the always fab Dissent Bar this Friday night. Approx set times are FoV at 8pm doing Violent Femmes, DttPs at 9pm smashing the Pixies, and XACTO at 10pm channelling XTC. Yum! Tickets are proceeding in an orderly fashion, available online via Dissent or at the door.
