Applications are now open for the new First Nations ALIA Mentoring Bursary.

Created to support the next generation of First Nations library and information professionals, this new bursary matches a First Nations mentee with a First Nations mentor through the ALIA Mentoring Program.

Open to First Nations LIS students and early career practitioners, the bursary includes:

✅ Participation in the ALIA Mentoring Program with a First Nations mentor
✅ One year of ALIA Personal Membership

This is a fantastic opportunity to build connections, gain professional guidance and be supported by an experienced mentor as you develop your career.

Delivered online in partnership with TAFE NSW, this flexible six-week course is ideal for library and information professionals with some cataloguing experience who want to deepen their expertise.

On successful completion, you'll receive an official TAFE NSW academic transcript for BSBINS516 – Undertake cataloguing activities, which also forms part of the Diploma of Library and Information Services.
