🌭 Volunteers Needed – Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser! ☀️

We're firing up the BBQ at Bunnings Maddington on Sunday, 2 August 2026, and we'd love your help!

Every sausage sold will help Operation Sunshine continue providing essential packs filled with comfort and practical items for women and children experiencing crisis across Western Australia.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours for one shift, or sign up for two we'd be grateful for your support. Volunteers are needed to help with:
🌭 Cooking sausages and onions
💛 Serving food
💰 Handling sales
😊 Sharing the work (and a few laughs!)

No experience is necessary—just a willingness to lend a hand and make a difference.

🧡 As we begin the new financial year, we're taking a moment to reflect on the incredible impact we made together over the past 12 months.

It’s been a big year for Operation Sunshine WA. Thanks to our amazing volunteers, supporters, sponsors and partners, we've been able to provide comfort, dignity, and hope to thousands of Western Australians experiencing crisis🧡

Look what we have achieved:
☀️2,723 Variety Sunshine Packs distributed to children and young people entering out-of-home care and escaping family violence.
☀️1,029 Courage Kits distributed to women escaping family and domestic violence.
☀️223 Rise Packs distributed to young people experiencing homelessness.
☀️687 Christmas presents provided to children and young people in care or crisis across WA.
☀️243 FANTASTIC volunteers engaged in various activities.
☀️4,662 people in need directly impacted through our initiatives.
☀️$431,850 worth of goods distributed to vulnerable women, children, and young people, and families across Western Australia.

Every pack packed, every donation made, every hour volunteered and every act of kindness has helped bring comfort, hope and dignity to people during some of the most difficult times in their lives💛
