Meet Tracey! Our wonderful White Card (CPCWHS1001) trainer. We asked Tracey to give us a few words to introduce herself:

Safety has been at the heart of my career for many years. Having worked extensively within the WHS sector across both construction and business environments, I bring real-world experience and practical knowledge to every training session.

As a White Card Trainer, I have delivered training to thousands of students across Australia as well as international participants from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. I am passionate about making safety training engaging, practical, and accessible, ensuring every student understands not only the requirements of workplace safety but also the importance of looking after their own wellbeing and that of those around them.

My goal is to equip every learner with the skills and awareness needed to return home safely at the end of each working day.

Working alongside our trainers, they built their own tables at school — developing practical skills and confidence along the way.
The CPC20220 course provides a strong pathway into an apprenticeship in the construction industry, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for these students.

Last week, Jaiden—one of our first-year apprentices—smashed out CPCCWF2002: Use wall and floor tiling tools and equipment at our Capalaba Training Facility. Amazing work! 👏

Meet Jake! One of our QLD Carpentry Trainers & Assessors 👷‍♂️
Experience
Jake has been working as a carpenter since early 2016 with experience across Sydney, Townsville, and Brisbane.
Day to Day
A typical day for Jake includes delivering both theory and practical training on-site, plus running “toolbox” talks with apprentices.
Most Rewarding
Seeing apprentices take initiative and push themselves through both theory and practical work is what Jake finds most rewarding 🙌
Outside of Work
When he’s not on-site, Jake enjoys water sports, fishing, camping, 4x4 adventures, dirt bikes, and working on improving his own home 🏕️🚤
