Every great build starts with a solid foundation… and that’s exactly what our Level 1 Performance Package is all about.

Last week we had this super tidy VA STI through the workshop for our Level 1 package. Before we even touch the dyno, we carried out our mandatory pre-dyno health inspection — because chasing power on an unhealthy engine is a recipe for disappointment. We dig deep with a full mechanical check-over to ensure that everything is in tip-top shape before we carry out any further works.

Throughout the pre-dyno inspection, we had found that the blow off valve that was fitted to the car was presenting a boost leak so we fitted up an upgraded dual port blow off valve to keep progressing with the performance upgrades!

From there, we unlocked performance the right way:
- Cold air intake system for improved airflow, sharper response and that turbo induction noise we all love!
- Turbo-Back exhaust system for better breathing to allow for efficiency as well as the iconic rumble!
- Custom In-House Dyno Tune through EcuTek software – tailored specifically to the car for maximum efficiency and safe gains. Every car is individually calibrated on our dyno to get the most out of your setup while keeping reliability front of mind.

And the best part? This is just the beginning.

Our Level 1 package sets the stage for future upgrades like intercoolers, upgraded fuel systems, and beyond — giving you a clear path forward as your build evolves.

If you're looking at upgrading your prized possession to perform like a dream, give us a call on 07 3245 5070, email us at [email protected] or send us a message!

1st in Tuner class for King of the Park 2026 with , not without its “challenges”. It all started with the run order of the tracks and a joke of “Ah H-E-K”...

A normal a track day for our little DG '3BANGA' GR Yaris is straight forward.

Today, we had a few incidences and I was fortunate enough to have support at the track with DG Mechanic Adam, my partner Jess, and Dad. Without them all, it would have all ended on the first track.

H Track
- An oil filter issue in the morning caused a major haemorrhaging of oil and a bit of a mess for a few cars behind (sorry to our fellow racers affected), clean up crew were onto it, problem rectified and we scraped together a concoction of what oil we could to fill an essentially empty lubricating system. This oil analysis should be interesting.
- The car was much twitchier then usual and was quite a handful in the morning, we have a few changes coming to help this in the not-so-distant future.
- Coming onto the main straight the car got a little wider and used some dirt again, this time we got some compression and rebound unsettling the car significantly and turning the car around, backing into the wall, lifting off the ground and rotating another 180degrees, quite a heavy impact which somehow didn’t destroy the car.

E track
- The car was hitting a safety and limiting engine RPM to 4000RPM, we lost a couple of rounds working around a dead high pressure fuel system sensor.
- With the morning antics and lunch break, the tyres were super cold but we managed to get a cleanish lap in on low boost to get some data and make a strategy for the afternoon sessions

K track
- We settled the twitchiness down, the car had battle scars from the day but we still managed a fairly clean lap but still a full second down, off pace of what we have PB’d in the car previously.
- Rain set in for the last couple of sessions so we ended the day early

Back to DG tomorrow and get it on the hoist for a full inspection to see the extent of the damage. Nearly 3 years of racing this car and today it took more hits than ever, all in one day and I actually can’t believe that it just kept giving!!

Thankyou to Team DG!
