Last Friday Night Powder Blue brought their Soulful taste of Psych to The Evelyn Hotel cruising into a set of funk driven tracks that undeniably had the entire crowd charmed - dancing along hypnotically at every moment

Last year they released two fantastic EP’s ‘Reaching Towards the Sun’ being full of a feeling of a bright Summers day and its counterpart ‘In the Shadows’ offering a bit of a moodier sound of nighttime yet still very in keeping with the former making for the perfect pair ☯️

Absolutely a group worth keeping a watch for as it feels as if they’re just getting started!

Before taking the stage the crowd was frothing at the mouth with repeated chants of “We want porn” and “We want crumpets”, the excitement was undeniable and felt as if it might explode at any moment

And when the band took to the stage it did, with the band ripping into two face melters fresh off their latest album

The rest of the show followed suit with raw chaotic energy infused in every track and the crowd were 100% there for it shouting along to every word and clashing bodies in the pit to the Crumpet’s classic tunes and new ones alike

A legendary start to the their Aus tour, that’s for certain ⚡️
