Thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm Nicole, a mumma living in Darwin with my husband and 3 kids.
When I am not running kids around, I love to do something creative with my hands. Whether its little macrame projects, cooking and baking, painting and facepainting or splicing ropes; I love things to keep me busy. The great thing about splicing (and all my other side hustles) is that I can do it from home around my family and not miss out on my children growing up!

I first learnt the art of splicing at Tafe in WA when I left school. A few years later after working in varous marine industry roles, I was able to put this skill to use working as a splicer for Jeyco Marine in Darwin. I have branched out since and now work from home doing private jobs for customers when they need something done quickly and professionally.

I also volunteer with St. John Volunteers when I can fit it in!

A repair job down at East Arm Wharf. This client's main mooring line was damaged and needed to be repaired, respliced and new SX Guard put on it down at the site where they were moored up before they could disembark.
This was a fun little job.
