Promoting her use of certified home compostable cups, lids, and straws on social media 2. Providing clearly labeled bins for compostable packaging 3. Highlighting compostability with eye-catching posters 4. Being transparent about the switch by sharing her journey and unboxing products wrapped in paper sleeves Being open and transparent about your journey toward becoming a more mindful, waste-free business is crucial. It not only attracts customers who share those values but also strengthens the connection with your community, making them appreciate and support you even more. @_bonbons_coffee is also our very first cafe in the Northern Territory, and we are so glad to see a cafe on the other side of Australia wanting to make a difference with home compostable packaging 🧡 Bonnie uses our certified home compostable cups, hot and iced lids, grass straws and our reusable customised wooden stamp with her cafe logo. ☝️WHY is this important: the NT, like many other State, does not have composting facilities and as a result does not provide FOGO green bin. As a result, all “commercially” compostable packaging (=most compostable packaging on the market) has to go to landfill.
