LOCATION: Peko Road, TENNANT CREEK

ALERT LEVEL: Advice - A fire has started in the area. Monitor the situation for changes.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire. INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 18/06/2026 13:54:00

STATUS: BEING CONTROLLED - Effective strategies are in operation or planned for the entire perimeter.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Stay informed until threat is reduced.

STATUS: PLANNED BURN - A planned burn is due to commence Thursday 18th June 2026.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility. Active fire may occur close to the roadside.
Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.
