๐ŸŽ‰ Great News โ€” Lucy Weekes Is Back at JS Podiatry! ๐ŸŽ‰

Weโ€™re thrilled to share that Lucy Weekes is returning to JS Podiatry from 22 December!

Many of our long-term patients will remember Lucy from her time with us earlier in her career. Over the past two years, she has been working at the Royal Adelaide Hospital as a high-risk clinical senior and research podiatrist, gaining fantastic experience in complex foot and ankle conditions and diabetic foot care.

Lucy has a special interest in:
๐Ÿฆถ Sports and musculoskeletal injuries
๐Ÿฆถ High-risk and diabetic foot care
๐Ÿฆถ Biomechanics and gait-related issues
๐Ÿฆถ Preventative long-term foot health

Sheโ€™s also a runner and group-fitness lover โ€” so she understands how important it is to stay active and pain-free.

Weโ€™re incredibly excited to welcome her back to the team, and sheโ€™s now taking bookings from 22 December onward.

๐Ÿ“… Appointments are available over summer

Pain under the ball of your foot?
It may be linked to a plantar plate injury โ€” a condition thatโ€™s often misunderstood.

In our latest blog, podiatrist Mathew explains what the plantar plate is, how injuries occur, and what a podiatrist looks for in assessment.
