Ellenbrook Vipers Rugby Union Club

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Ellenbrook Vipers Rugby Union Club has been awarded the Game On, Girls Grant, proudly supported by the WA Government.

This grant is so much more than funding. It’s an investment in the future of girls rugby at the Vipers and an opportunity to create more pathways for girls aged 13–17 to participate, develop confidence, build leadership skills and feel like they belong in our rugby community 🏉💖🐍

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be delivering our Girls Rugby Development Program, , with a focus on increasing participation, improving retention, building confidence and creating stronger pathways for girls aged 13–17. The program will include initiatives around:

🏉 Girls rugby participation and recruitment
💪 Skill development and confidence
🤝 Inclusive and welcoming environments
⭐ Leadership and mentoring
📈 Long-term pathways in rugby

This is just the beginning!

We’re excited to build on the fantastic foundation our U13 Girls team has already created and continue providing opportunities for the next generation of female rugby players.

Today we’re celebrating one of the true heartbeats of the Vipers family.

Michelle has never had a child playing at our club, yet week after week she’s there with a smile on her face, keeping our kiosk running on training nights and at every home carnival as our incredible Kiosk Manager. As a valued committee member, she’s always putting her hand up to help and is constantly thinking of ways to make our club even better ❤️

No matter what life throws her way, Michelle continues to show up with kindness, positivity, and an infectious laugh that brightens everyone’s day. Her selflessness, resilience, and dedication are an inspiration to us all, and our club is a better place because of her.

Michelle, thank you for everything you do for our players, families, volunteers, and the entire Vipers community. We are so incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Vipers family.
