Family based speedway team

A bit of a mixed bag today.

Isaac showed great speed and driving in the hot laps, heat 1 he started 10th and finished 3rd then the gremlins reappeared in the second heat and it looks like we have done a clutch and his day ended.

Connie was given a fantastic opportunity to run the ladies races today and we can’t thank Jayden and the Cut Snake racing team enough. Connie brought the car home safe and straight each time and got faster every time. She even remembered all her coaching of the kids over the years to watch your crew under yellow and foot flat turn left 😂😂. It was also great to see the kids bossing her around and getting her ready 😂😂

Although the racing for us wasn’t spectacular we were All there as a family and a team and nothing beats that’s ❤️. We were lucky to be given a second chance at a life together and we will always grab every opportunity and run with.

All Positives No Negatives.

We will see where we race next and our focus is on the new car and next season and who knows we may even grow to a 2 car team.

Looking forward to this weekend. Isaac will be running number 28 which is a special number for us and we will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Connie’s incident which nearly took her from us but we were given a second chance

All positives and No negatives 😍

See you all on the weekend.

DTN 500 THIS WEEKEND!

The Formula 500s return to Ellenbrook Speedway this Sunday for the third running of the DTN 500, with another quality field set to battle it out in one of the club’s marquee events of the season.

Presented by the team at Dirt Track Nutters, the event continues to build momentum after two thrilling editions, with defending winner Thomas Davies leading the charge into the 2026 running.

Davies was victorious in last year’s event after defeating Logan Harris and Glen Mears in the feature race, adding his name to the honour roll alongside inaugural winner Cody Turacchio, who claimed the first DTN 500 ahead of Brendon Marshman and Chris Dymock in 2024.

Davies returns this weekend carrying the target on his back, but the defending champion will face no shortage of challengers as the Formula 500 field assembles for another all-action afternoon of racing.

Glen Mears, third in last year’s finale, will be eager to go a couple of positions better this time around after showing strong pace throughout recent seasons.

One of the biggest talking points heading into the weekend is the return of Jeff Hedington, who makes his comeback after sitting out the summer season. A long time competitor, whenever he straps into a Formula 500, Hedington’s return immediately adds further depth to an already stacked field. James Dawson also returns to competition and will be looking to quickly find his rhythm again around the fast Ellenbrook circuit.

After a breakout 2025/26 season campaign, Isaac Arnold enters the DTN 500 as one of the drivers many will be watching closely. Arnold has consistently shown speed and maturity beyond his years and will be chasing what would be a breakthrough feature race victory this weekend.

The Pages family, Todd and Jamie, loom as genuine contenders as well, both capable of running at the front when conditions suit, while Troy Samwell’s experience and racecraft make him another driver that cannot be overlooked.

Connor Murray and Jason Carbone will also be aiming to work their way into the fight against the established names.

Adding further intrigue to the event is rookie Craig Donaldson, who continues his development in the class, while the father-son combination of Darren and Deegan Wood are both set to tackle the prestigious event together in what promises to be a memorable occasion for the family.

With a quality mix of proven winners, returning veterans, rising stars and hungry newcomers, the stage is set for another entertaining chapter in the history of the DTN 500.

Well last night went to plan for the first 2 heats with a 1st and a 2nd. We missed it in the dash and went backwards to 4th. It was a massive effort by the team just to make the heats as we had issues with the radiator etc but we got there. It all went south in the feature where we ended up on the infield whilst running a solid 3rd
We have been down to see Dave at Hyper Industries this morning and it looks like we have damaged the motor so it’s out of the car ready for rebuild.

We will be back bigger and better.

Massive thanks to our sponsors and supporters.

Although the night ended with a DNF watching the kids jump in and sort the car and chase bits all working together makes the disappointment bearable. A family that races together stays together.
