Redbox Design Group

Redbox Design Group were honored to support the recent sculpture unveiling of late senator Susan Ryan, in the Senate Rose Gardens.

In an effort to rectify the gender imbalance of statues representing men, created by men, in Canberra public places, artist Lis Johnson was commissioned to represent feminist, advocate for equality, and lover of the arts, Susan Ryan. Ms Ryan was the first female federal Labor minister, and a pioneer in extensive anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation.
 

 

Last Friday, the Redbox team officially farewelled Karin, one of our founding members, and creator of the name ‘Redbox Design Group’.
