It can be tricky to identify our own "blind spots" and often people are reluctant to give feedback for fear of offending or being perceived as unkind. A clever colleague pointed out how the Dunning-Kruger effect can demonstrate how we might over-estimate (when we are not very good) or under-value (when we are very good) our capabilities. Plus this is all complicated that perceptions of success of some of the finer leadership/interpersonal skills are a matter of opinion or context. I'm curious if you have ways of identifying blind spots or opportunities and how it works for you.
