🗣️ Where Leaders (and Great Conversations) Are Made!

Ever wondered if Western Australia should just go its own way? Or if Perth is ready for that full "metropolitan" glow-up? 🌆 We didn't just wonder—we debated it!

Last Monday, Multicultural Mandurah Toastmasters held Meeting No. 30, and it was a packed house at the Greenfields Community Centre.

From Bryce Allen’s "Ice Breaker" to Rudson Barcoma’s "Pathway" speech, and Jonathan practicing his competition speech, our members were busy sharpening their skills and finding their voices.

Why you should join us next time:
• Conquer the Stage: Whether it’s a 90-second Table Topic or a 7-minute keynote, we provide the perfect "safe space" to ditch the public speaking jitters.
• Think on Your Feet: Our impromptu sessions (like the WA secession debate!) will help you stay sharp in any meeting or social setting.
• Community & Feedback: We don't just speak; we grow. With structured evaluations from experts like Olaf Schubert and Angela Roberts, you’ll leave every meeting better than you started.
• The Best Part? We have a supper break! ☕️ Come for the growth, stay for the networking and snacks.

Ready to find your voice? 🎤

Whether you're a seasoned pro or can't imagine standing in front of a crowd, there is a seat at the table for you.

📍 Where: Greenfields Community Centre, 2 Waldron Blvd, Mandurah
🗓️ When: Every 2nd and 4th Monday
⏰ Time: 6:55 PM (for a 7:00 PM start)

Drop a comment below or DM us to be a guest at our next meeting. See you there!

🌟 Celebrating Women Finding Their Voice

International Women’s Day may have passed, but the impact of women finding their voice continues every day in Toastmasters.

Women join Toastmasters to:

🎤 Speak with confidence
📈 Develop leadership skills
🤝 Connect with supportive and encouraging communities

Across 140+ countries, women are growing as communicators, leaders, mentors, and role models — in their clubs, workplaces, and communities.

At Toastmasters District 17, we are proud of the many women who lead, inspire, and support others to step forward and be heard.

💬 Tell us in the comments:
What has Toastmasters helped you find — confidence, leadership, connection, or something else?
