We’ve welcomed a beautiful litter of puppies at home, so there may be a slight delay in replying to messages/ calls over the next week or so while I focus on mum and her babies.

I promise I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I can 🤍

🐾 Salon Update – Saturday Appointments 🐾

I wanted to share a small update regarding my grooming schedule.

Over the past months, I’ve found myself consistently working 6-day weeks, and to ensure I can continue providing the high level of care and one-on-one attention your pups are used to, I’ll be adjusting my operating days moving forward.

I will no longer be offering Saturday appointments.

All existing Saturday bookings will still go ahead as planned, however future appointments will be scheduled during the week.

I have started messaging those with regular Saturday appointments and will do my best to accommodate everyone into suitable weekday spots. I truly appreciate your understanding and ongoing support 🐶💛

**Cancellation/ No Show Policy**

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a quick update to my booking policies.

I’ve been putting this off for a while, as I know things feel a little uncertain for many people right now and I always try to be as understanding as possible. However, with an increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows — sometimes totalling $300+ in a day — it’s reached a point where I need to put something in place to protect my business.

As a one-on-one salon, I set aside a dedicated time for each dog, and unfortunately that time can’t usually be refilled at very short notice.

Going forward from today:

🐾 Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will incur a fee (typically 50% of the scheduled groom).

🐾 Outstanding fees will need to be paid before any future bookings, otherwise upcoming appointments may be cancelled.

I completely understand that things come up — just reach out as soon as you can and I’ll always do my best to work with you.

✨ Booking Update ✨

I am officially fully booked for March and April.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support Pawlished Pups and keeps my schedule so full — I appreciate you all so much! 🐾

If you like to keep your pup on a regular grooming schedule, I highly recommend booking a few appointments ahead to avoid missing out on your preferred dates. My books tend to fill quite quickly now, especially as we move through the year.

If you’d like to book ahead for upcoming months, please send me a message and I’ll get you sorted.

This weekend I stepped a little outside my comfort zone and entered my very first grooming competition at AusGroom in Melbourne, travelling across with a team of fellow groomers from SA✂️🐾

I competed in the Entry Level Asian Fusion and Teddy classes. I’m incredibly proud to say I placed 3rd in Asian Fusion 🥳🥉
Although I didn’t place in Teddy, I walked away with some really valuable feedback from the judges and I am very proud of my groom I did in an extremely competitive class.

Competitions are such a different environment to the salon – the pressure, the time limits, and the incredible talent around you really push you to grow. I’m so proud of the grooms I produced and grateful for the critiques that will help me keep improving.

A huge thank you to the organisers, judges, and everyone who helped create such a supportive and inspiring event. And of course thank you to my wonderful models who made it all possible. 🐶

Feeling very motivated to keep learning, refining my skills, and hopefully stepping back in the ring again soon. 💪✨

I’ll be away from this Friday to Monday (6-9th March) attending a grooming competition in Melbourne ✨✂️

I will still have my phone on me, but responses may be a little slower than usual while I’m competing and supporting fellow groomers.
