Gotta love aftermarket rubbish.

This is the Fuel pump cover that goes on the front timing cover of a P5AT that came with a timing cover and VRS kit.

Notice the seal isnt even flat, there is no way this would even attempt to be oil tight once fitted. Weve seen 3 like this so far.

Front main seal was the same.

This is why we only fit genuine parts, sometimes they may be a little more expensive, but it beats having to re do work twice because even though you fitted everything correctly it still leaks like a sieve.

With a big front mount and a massive front grille allowing bulk airflow air temps were super cold, meaning the AFR's we achieved this power at were super lean, we could've leaned on it a fair chunk more well into the 190s and near 600nm.

That being said Shane's main request was get it to drive nicer and save fuel, pairing the massive improvement in useable torque with a transmission tune that better utilizes the engines mid range makes this ute feel 10x better to drive, no more needless revving on take-off through the first 3 gears, crisp intuitive down-shifts when you want them and earlier up-shifts when cruising means itll go better and use less fuel, and the trans runs colder than it did at standard power with the standard trans calibration.
