Stripping down a MacBook Pro mid-2015 model to replace the battery.
Apple pack a lot into their chassis. There are over 25 steps to take to safely disassemble the device - pretty much every internal component and cable needs to be disconnected and removed. Then, the battery has to be unglued from the shell using acetone.
To add to the joy, the steps need to be RETRACED to reassemble the computer.

Spontaneous power shutdowns and 350Gb of data? No worries.
Diagnosis? Overheating due to dirty fan and filter, and possibly loose RAM cards. Now humming* away nicely.
* Actually, turns out that Macbook Pros don't hum. They're disturbingly quiet.
